£1,000 fine if a A/S/D person does not inform the DVLA
https://www.theguardian.com/society/...g-not-affected
[Autistic people angry at having to disclose diagnosis to DVLA even if driving not affected EHRC says consultation about change in policy should have taken place] Its now the Law so inform the DVLA right away. |
For what possible reason? Totally ridiculous. If someone with ASD passes their driving test, they had ASD when they passed the test, and is as fit to drive as anyone else who has passed the test.
It's not like they "got ASD" at some point after passing the test  |
A money grabbing rule that's just another way to fine people, there's no other logical reason for it to be a thing.

That’s not fair at all
