Comic Relief 2019 (This Friday)

Comic Relief airs on Friday 15 March on BBC One. The televised fundraiser starts at 7pm and continues on BBC One until 10pm. There will be a 35 minute break for the news before it returns at 10.35pm.'

First Part:

- Richard Madden returns as DS David Budd for a special episode of Bodyguard

- Robbie Savage will get more than he bargained for when he takes to top gear test track with Freddie Flintoff

- The Cast of Four weddings and a funeral include Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell will reunite for One Red Nose Day and a wedding

- It will be the first time that the original cast have come together since the film was released 25 years ago.

- Mamma Mia! Here We Go (Yet) Again.

- The cast of Only Fools And Horses: The Musical will put on a show stopping performance.

Second part: Alan Partridge takes to the streets of Norwich in an attempt to raise money. There will be a Red Nose Day special of All Round To Mrs Brown’s. The cast of Magic Mike Live will turn up the heat in the studio. Viewers will be given a behind the scenes look at the production of One Red Nose Day and a Wedding. One lucky James Bond fan could win the chance of meeting Daniel Craig in an incredible giveaway competition.

Who is hosting Comic Relief 2019?

Sir Lenny Henry, Emma Willis, Paddy McGuinness, David Tennant, Zoe Ball, Romesh Ranganathan and Alesha Dixon will all be on hand to host the show at various points during the first part between 7pm and 10pm.

After that, Rob Beckett, Clara Amfo and Joe Sugg will take over the reigns presenting the second part.

I watched the whole thing and the only thing I took away from it was the presenters unashamedly saying how proud they were of going to Africa and places like that to help out....they have never done this on air before this and it's obviously down to the people nit picking at white privileged people helping out...some people are never happy it seems..

i haven't watched it in years, and obviously i'm not alone as the money raised has halved since it was at it's peak. People are wising up
