[Israeli forces have continued to
hit targets across the Gaza Strip,
just hours after a ceasefire was
reported to have taken effect.
The ceasefire was brokered by
Egypt on Monday but shortly
afterwards there were air raid sirens
heard in southern Israel and rocket
fire reported from Gaza.]

On the story: As usual let's be honest, a disproportionate response from Israel with complete disregard for diplomacy, given that the attack on Israel was very likely a protest by dissenters who didn't want a ceasefire... and of course, got what they wanted with one small rocket. Though the "shock and awe" response from Israel makes it fairly clear in my opinion that they weren't all that interested in the ceasefire either.

I was in Tel Aviv the other week. Lovely city. the Palestinians are just jealous.

Oliver_W 26-03-2019 11:48 AM

It must be tough for Israel - surrounded by terrorist nations ('nations') and being judged by the rest of the world when they retaliate...

far from that tbh, it's quite complicated this israeli-palestine conflict

it just comes down to who you believe most, or who gets most of your sympathies

You're on the right track Nicky, but there are verifiable facts that deal with this issue.

Israel does themselves no favours with disproportionate responses.

Nicky was very anti Israel in the last Eurovision song contest and was very nasty about the singer for Israel (Netta) so I am a little suspicious of his motives here

:suspect:

i was very supportive for Israel in other years of eurovision song contest though

Netta's song screamed too trending topics #MeToo thing :bored: which annoyed me and so not Israel's style at eurovision, cause i like most of their entries, even this years entry from them is in my personal top 3 i must admit

as for israeli-palestine conflict, both are in the wrong
