I promise to not make another thread like this for the next few days as I know that we've had quite a few of these threads lately (although I've personally enjoyed them) but I don't wanna drive people mad with them so I'll take a mini break after this thread.

Anyway TWD has had loads of main characters and side characters over the years so there are plenty of characters to choose from for your top 5 I feel.

Negan also seemed like a potentially really great villain but I stopped watching shortly after he got involved

TBH he became a cartoon character villain and is only interesting now that he's a more rounded character with some sort of Stockholm Syndrome.

Negan almost made me quit, top 5 TS, TOP 5????

I'm enjoying these kinds of threads at the moment as it's breakaway from the real life stuff such as Brexit (I promise not to mention it on this thread again) but I'm enjoying reading people's opinions on this thread and the other threads like it so I hope that more replies and threads of a similar nature will happen.

Of the characters still in it, easily top 5, and honestly so many of the characters have been wafer thin... there's not a huge amount of competition. I mean, people are "sad" about deaths like Tara, Jesus and Enid but I swear S9 noobs have had more meaningful character development than all three combined the entire time they were on the show! I feel like Lydia is a better rounded character in 7 episodes than poor Tara in 7 seasons :joker:.

Character development was so strong in seasons 1-3, by season 5 you’d have each character get about 2 mins screenrime or be missing from many episodes in a row. And so obviously all of my characters have been present from at least season 2 onwards. They introduced FAR to many characters in season 4,5,6,7 for you to really care about any of them

In no particular order:

Glenn and Maggie are definitely up there <3
and Enid :(
S9 Daryl >>>>. S4-8 Daryl and so I'm starting to like him more
I'm also really liking Connie, Magna, Yumiko, Alden (although he won't become a favourite anytime soon)
Sasha and Abraham were good too

I was like "wow Jersey has some great taste!) at your top characters

and then you went and listed your bottom 5 like.... i've never seen an uglier opinion, and I've read RileyH's forum faves
