Thought I'd make a thread for this since it's probably going to take place! I am HERE for another messy election night

Who are we all voting for girlies? It's Queen Nic and the SNP for me. Would be the Independent Group if I lived in England.

Remains will choose remainer MPs from whichever party suits them, Lib Dems seem to be the only truly remain party and leave will get behind the Brexit party..... I can only see one winner in this as the remain vote will be split, not sure Change UK have had enough impact to get people voting for them

Cherie 12-04-2019 07:48 PM

At least you know who you are voting for

Underscore 12-04-2019 07:48 PM

The Leave vote will be very split as well though between UKIP and the Brexit Party, they'll both gain a lot of Tory votes but also lose a lot to each other

It’s not excusable but most governments make U Turns, the Lib Dem’s were under the magnifying glass

Not sure about that UKIP were dead in the water at the last election even when the Torys were at their worst, I think Farage will get the backing, and calling it the Brexit Party is pretty much guaranteed to get UKIP voters moving away

They were but their vote went up a lot in the by election last week and they're polling at about the same as the Brexit Party. They're the established party who are most recognised by people and have all the structures etc in place already so it won't be easy to take their voters away. Their new leader does seem to have consolidated a support base amongst the more unpleasant Brexit voters as well - all the Tommy Robinson supporters, EDL types etc

Elliot 12-04-2019 08:38 PM

They’re all **** tbh. Lib Dem’s best of a bad bunch

bots 12-04-2019 08:41 PM

if there was an apathy party i would vote for them, failing that i will exercise my democratic right not to vote

joeysteele 12-04-2019 09:17 PM

Labour.

smudgie 12-04-2019 09:29 PM

The Brexit party.
No way could I vote for any of these ruddy imbeciles that are in now.

joeysteele 12-04-2019 09:40 PM

If I lived in Scotland I'd vote more likely SNP.
I have strong respect for the SNP.

I’m in a likely UKIP/Brexit targeted North east seat so will likely vote Labour to keep them out

It’s a proportional voting system! So there’s no such thing as a wasted vote

Nicky91 14-04-2019 07:50 AM

It does seem bizarre Nicky.
I agree.

This hopeless PM we have is the cause due to her incompetence.

I will always think leaving the EU will end up being seen as one of the worst decisions ever allowed to be made as to the UK.
By still a minority of those eligible to vote even.

Underscore 14-04-2019 08:20 AM

Love to see the Lib Dems topping a poll for once :dazzler:
