Avatar too big message when editing profile [threads merged - problem fixed]
 

This is mainly for the admins, I think? Everytime I try to edit my sig, it says my avatar is too big, yet it's from the avatar gallery thing. :S

I am having that problem aswell

Really? It seems to have worked if you edit your sig, then remove your av and click sumbit (or what ever the button says).

Yep thats what I did. But I cant upload an avatar now.

I'll have a look at what is wrong here.

Happens to me sometimes, and is happening again now.

It's still happening.

When i try to delete my banner in my sig, it comes up your avatar is too big. Then i deleted my avatar and tried again and the same thing came up.:conf2:

I'll look in to this problem, some other people reported it too.

Because Emily has been ejected I wanted to change the colour of her name in my sig to red to indicate she'd left, but when I go to do it it says my avatar is too big. :shrug:

What has the alteration of my sig got to do with the size of my avatar lol. :conf:

It's been doing that to a few people Sol! I think James is looking into it.

That happened to me, until I changed my avatar to something which isnt a avatar from the site.

Just remove the text in the avatar section, then edit your sig, and click 'OK'. It should work then. :thumbs:

When you upload an avatar, Ash, if you go to the bottom of the Edit Profile page on your Control Panel it links to your avatar.:thumbs:

If a picture is too big it will not upload. The maxium size of an avatar is 150x160 pixels.Theres a resizer site :thumbs:

I choose this avatar from the ones you can pick. I'm not trying to change my avatar it's my profile info I want to change. Thanks anyway :)

Oooh your profile,that I don't know....Try editing again and pressing refresh anyways.
