Easter or Christmas?

What special time of year do you prefer?

Liam- 18-04-2019 06:55 PM

Christmas, what a silly question, who celebrates Easter?

Jason. 18-04-2019 07:01 PM

East Her is a non-event.

Cherie 18-04-2019 09:43 PM

I love Easter though because there is zero pressure to buy anything or cook anything

_Tom_ 18-04-2019 11:47 PM

Easter! Chocolate eggs win every time. Christmas is a bore and a slog!

No. I actually didn’t.

LaLaLand 19-04-2019 12:31 AM

Crimbo.

Easter is just for kids here really, and for getting the reduced price eggs after it all ends :laugh2:

JerseyWins 19-04-2019 01:46 AM

I learn to appreciate Easter more the more I lose money on Christmas

But Christmas is just obviously iconic

andybigbro 19-04-2019 03:40 AM

Christmas for sure

Amy Jade 19-04-2019 04:44 AM

Easter is less expensive and less stressful so I'll pick Easter

The supermarkets are doing their best to push it as another snouts in the trough holiday..have an Easter feast, Easter lamb....yadda yadda.... the shops will be closed on Easter Sunday and there is no pandemonium ...I do love Christmas but it's gotton way out of hand commerically :oh:

Elliot 19-04-2019 07:53 AM

:umm2: so is Christmas, you wouldn't care about a long weekend if you work and get them off? and Easter school holidays?

joeysteele 19-04-2019 08:30 AM

I still hold to my religious faith.
So in that Easter holds a greater part to that for me.

However generally.
Pushing all aside.
Christmas while enjoyable obviously, is really just too manic and way out of control as to pressures on some individuals.

Easter is much more sedate and less overindulgent, so for me.

I prefer Easter.

Crimson Dynamo 19-04-2019 08:35 AM

easter means zero to me and i dont have time off so Christmas is miles better

I don't expect any chowing down on your body weight in chocolate eggs or hot cross buns then :smug:

Saph 19-04-2019 09:11 AM

xmas is cute but SO boring nowadays for my family

Easter reminds me of the beginning of summer so

Kazanne 19-04-2019 09:25 AM

I love both and like the family get togethers, love doing the easter egg hunt for the kids and also doing the tree that smudgie suggested,Christmas is way more expensive but I still love it,as the kids get so excited, so for me I like both and I like the religious connection to both, but the Easter story more so.
