Why is Charley being condemned for expressing shock?

People are saying Charley's a sly backstabber for constantly talking about Emily's "slur" and feel she was directly responsible for Emily getting kicked out. She got called a "******" FGS! How should she have reacted? Gone on about how nice Emily was for using the word, or maybe even commended Emily on her intelligence of using the word? I don't think so. Charley had every right to be distraught. As for Emily, well, she's not as smart as she'd like people to think.

And yes, I know the use of the word wasn't don't maliciously, but she still used the word which was stupid, especially after January.

I don't think Charley's a sly backstabber at all. I've not heard anyone say it myself, but they clearly don't realise the impact of the word. Charley had every right to express shock - as hard as she tried to show she wasn't offended, she clearly was by the simple fact that she kept bringing it up.

Emily really isn't as smart as I thought, and I'm surprised that she thinks the fact that it's said around where she lives and is in songs would make it acceptable to everyone. BB is watched by millions. So I think, the best thing BB could've done for Emily is eject her... because her staying in there probably would have received more complaints.

I don't think Charley is sly either.. she was 100% shocked at what Emily said yet, I believe was mainly worried as to one, why she'd perhaps use that word after CBB and two, what would then become of Emily on the show. She obviously, like Ash said, was offended by the use of the word also.. because, had she had not, she would not have mentioned it so often. I also believe Charley when she said how much she liked Emily and I think it's safe to see that she really was also worried what would happen.

I find it odd how Charley is reinventing what actually happened.

I know there are a lot of people accusing Charley of milking this. I'm not a fan of Charley, but in my opinion she isn't milking anything. Unless you are a black woman who had just been called that, you can't begin to understand how Charley feels. I reckon she was hurt by that word and has every right to be.

I can only comment on what I see and what I think.

Charley can say what she likes, you know:rolleyes:

Remember how many forum members here, who didn't like her & still don't, due to her atitude & nasty comments.

Don't listen to Charley.

If Charley found Emily to be Racist & she thinks that, then that is just typical-Charley.

Emily has her rights, you know:rolleyes:
