The theme this year was 'Camp: Notes on a Fashion', and this...well...is what they interpreted that as.

I do actually love the suit but...really? No makeup? No drag? For the MET GALA? God damn it Ru.

I don't know why I waited with bated breath to see what the straight men would wear. Literally none of them, aside from Harry Styles, made any effort whatsoever. Toxic masculinity is real.

Darren Criss is apparently a hetero (and Jared Leto too) and they did better than him, IMO. But yeah they largely missed the mark.
