Corbyn s obsession with a General Election

Does he seriously think the public will vote for him?

Crimson Dynamo 24-05-2019 01:07 PM

its actually mystifying

reece(: 24-05-2019 01:09 PM

Because they want the tories out?

Smithy 24-05-2019 01:31 PM

No but he knows the tories will lose more seats so

Crimson Dynamo 24-05-2019 01:32 PM

Well Labour are leading in the polls, so...

He is a racist who absolutely hates Jews, I pity people who vote him

Its odd. As surely, noone actually WANTS to be in power during the brexit ****show. Like, even if he did get in, he would then be forever blamed for however it turns out. I would have thought that most parties would purposely try to lose is there was another GE tbh

Thats not what he has said
Be Fair Adam

Labour stands the best chance of winning now that the Tories are in ruins. It's no surprise that he's angling for an election.

I don't know who I'd vote for if there was a GE though. I voted Labour for the EU Elections since a compromise brexit is the best way forward but I won't vote Labour in a GE unless they sort out the anti-semitism issues and become more consistent in their policies.

He doesnt like Jews and Jews are a race are they not?

He was given many chances to clarify his comments but has refused and also refused to reveal why he was pally pally with certain people he shouldn't be

arista 24-05-2019 02:15 PM

Only if the DUP pull away from the Conservatives
can Corbyn get his wish.

But they will back a No Deal
instead of Labour Power

New Labour's Gordon Brown
took over from Blair
but did not call a Snap election

He has stood idly by while his party spouted anti-Semitic views. Even if he himself isn't an anti-Semite (which he is) that would be enough to prove he's not a strong nor a fair leader.

Fair Points

Can he beat Boris?

there wont be a GE until the brexit issue is concluded. If we go no deal, then it will be back to usual for tories and labour. If article 50 is revoked then it's likely Corbyn will be fighting against the brexit party for power

I dunno, I think the Brexit Party will do well in the EU election simply because it'll have less people voting than in a general election. I think that party would flounder in a GE situation.
