I literally have no idea how bets work at all. My boyfriend does loads of betting on his apps and makes loads of money to be fair.
I've seen him cash in £700 one weekend and he said he only spent about £50 |
The charity money is going to good use?

I love making sports bets every once in a while and overall I win money off of them as well (although not a ton). But makes the games extra fun and intense to watch :clap1: |
Whew!

Yeah you can make a fortune from sign up offers, free bets and stuff. I signed up to like, every site years and years back so already did it(ended up like..a fair few grand over a year or so from freebies and deposit matches), but I got myself a gambling addiction in the process..mind, I think the addiction was there first tbf but all the free cash made it a lot worse.
My brother started on the matched betting and stuff, which really is free money and it basically goes on forever but you have to really be careful about what bets you do..and unfortunately he, also ended up just 'normal' gambling after a few years too :/ Basically, congrats and the free cash seems amazing, but be careful. A gambling addiction is a right ****ing bitch to deal with :S |

I won 800 on the grand national years back with a tiny bet (before I decided it was cruel and never to bet on it) and everyone was shocked as I knew **** all about horse racing. But, surely its just..well luck, in a race that big? I get that other things matter in smaller races, not that I understand quite what matters. I went for the name. Don't even remember what it was but it stuck out to me..silver something, was 40/1. Before the race everyone was trying to get me to put money on this other horse as it was 'basically free money' and laughing at my choice. That was a good day, all these old horse racing blokes being proved wrong :D I was at work, and they expected me to buy a round for them all because I won and I told them all to piss off as they had been just taking the piss out of me for 2 hours before

Nice! I imagine horse racing is pretty much luck, so for a one off thing is okay, but like you I don’t agree with horse racing in the first place so can’t support that business. Straight guys getting injuries on a pitch on the other hand? Take my money!

I think theres an element of luck to the normal horse racing, but I swear, I saw those guys constantly winning for years and years, the odd race they got wrong but it was almost always their way, so I figure there has to be something else too  Either way, it was around that time that I decided I wouldn't bet on it anymore, from memory something like 4 horses were injured or died that day and it kind of played on my mind. People being hurt, I can deal with easily and it doesn't bother me, but animals..no. People say that makes me weird, I would say, its fairly common
