Nigel had a great meet with him last night, said he is in top form. Loves the Royal Family (his mum being a proud Scottish Royalist)

He makes what are important speeches, then does interviews where he near discounts some of what he said in said speeches.

This happened before Internationally too.

What is anyone then really left to believe, his speeches standing alongside other leader/s.
Or the interview where he starts to backtrack.

That is worrying and should be too.

confirmed its not for sale.

Many parts of the NHS are already contracted out to the private sector. The labour party were instrumental in the NHS going that route. The moment any part of it is contacted out, the services can be provided by any country.

People are kidding themselves if they think anything different.

Well as to the NHS.
We have Trump saying it would be on the table in a televised public speech with our present PM at his side.

Then in an interview we have him saying, he doesn't see it as something to be in a trade deal.

Not really ruling it out.

Also the US Ambassador told Marr, the NHS would be part of any trade deals.

Trump has not overridden that nor has the Ambassador altered his statement either.

Confusion to muddy the waters while it happens perhaps.

It was lovely to see him talk about his Scottish Mum and how proud she would have been of him

I didn't realise he had a Scottish mom,and yes I am sure she would have loved it when he met the Queen :wavey:

This visit was a tremendous success and I think a lot of British people would have been won over this time by the way he got on so well and was so respectful of the Royal Family
