If you want to continue playing from the back, then you need players who are good enough to, and it looks like we don't have them.

Lingard was never offside, level for me, VAR is talking out of its backside.

Playing it from the back is all well and good but teams who do it well do it every week and play with each other all year round.. it's a lot harder to implement it in a team which only gets together every now and then and where they don't really know each other that well, it relies so much on communication and having confidence in your team mates..

Stones and Barkley have gone backwards since leaving the mighty Everton. Two of the best young players when they played for us. They should have stayed at Everton.
