Pop stars The new rivals
 

I think itv needs to bring back pop stars where instead of deciding who is in the bands on the show in the live rounds there are 10 groups 5 boy bands and 5 girl bands and then one winning group at the end of the series do you guys think it could work ?

Or better each contestant would try to win a place in 4 groups 2 boy bands and 2 girl bands then one boy band And one girl band win the series and the record deal

I've been saying for a while that I think this would work again, enough time has passed since the original - 17 YEARS!!

Would give the tired X Factor a rest for a year at least plus it seems the market for girlbands and boybands is once again huge atm (Little Mix, BTS, 1D were insanely big etc etc)

Yeah I have thought for a while that popstars should be brought back but I do feel it should be done how it was originally when they created hearsay

I like the idea of the public choosing who wins or who goes in the band personally or if the judges created a load of groups and the public chooses which one to win

i think this can work, maybe people are more tired of the x factor show, and they have given up on pop idol a long time ago (while its still insanely popular in Germany as Deutschland Sucht Den Superstar)

i love german idols myself, a good concept and Dieter is still a good a ''Judge villain'' character during auditions

also a first now all 4 judges stay the same for next years upcoming season



Popstars the Rivals could work, but hope they give the stage a lot of attention, since what i love of DSDS is stagings during liveshows are Always so amazing, lots of props and visual effects on backdrop, almost feels like eurovision stagings which make the artists come over even more fab than they already are

Someone should host a game version of popstars on here... But not yet obviously as there is a lot of games waiting to happen

Jake you could do it I’d back judging it if I’m honest I’d say we can scrap the other games except the allstars game which we are about to finish just waiting for one more persons scores and comments

Don’t we have enough of these talent shows though?

But I think the uk needs a little break from Xfactor and bring popstsrs back cause that was a good show

Yeah I'll host it a bit later into the summer provided I have permission and provided other games aren't waiting to run I don't want to step on anyone's toes especially as I'm already hosting the strictly game so I'm busy with that atm but if the demand for a popstars game is around it would be a pleasure to host
