looks...a bit naff

:suspect: I'm... unsure. Graphics look a bit off. And Thor seems lame and one-dimensional like Thor 1 & 2 MCU Thor which is pretty jarring after him getting a crap tonne of character development over the last two years.

They're not meant to be the MCU Avengers, they're seperate, I reckon there will be more to their personalities than what we see in this trailer.

Also there will be a 4 player co-op mode that is gonna see free updates for years to come, where you can create your own hero

I know and I don't necessarily mind that e.g. I like the PS4 Peter Parker and he's nothing like MCU Spider-man, especially with him being an established / experienced Spidey compared to MCU teenaged Spidey, it's literally just from that trailer that Thor feels more like the frankly quite flat Thor that came from the comics and was in the early movies, and I'd hope they'd take cues from the MCU to make him a more fleshed out character. I mean IMO in the movies he's gone from one of the flimsiest characters, to one of the best defined.

Does this mean it'll actually be good, given your track record of hyping games that turn out to be utter garbage? :joker:

To our fans,

At Crystal Dynamics our ambition has always been to deliver the ultimate Avengers gaming experience. In order to achieve that goal, we have made the difficult decision to move the release date of Marvel’s Avengers to September 4, 2020.

As fans ourselves, it’s an honor and a privilege to work with these legendary characters and we know what these Super Heroes mean to us and True Believers around the world. When we set out to bring you our vision for Marvel’s Avengers, we committed to delivering an original story-driven campaign, engaging co-op, and compelling content for years to come. To that end, we will spend this additional development time focusing on fine tuning and polishing the game to the high standards our fans expect and deserve.

The worldwide teams working on Marvel’s Avengers sincerely appreciate the support you’ve shown us. We thrive on your enthusiasm and feedback and we can’t wait to show you more. We apologize for the delay. We’re confident it will be worth the wait.

Good move really, more time to work on the game, and releases in a less crowded time

If they're gonna release that close to the next generation then they'd be better off delaying it and upgrading it to a next gen title. I don't think many people will splash out for what SE are planning to be a long term service game if it'll be outdated two months later.

I imagine Sony are gonna do forwards compatible games with the PS4, where you can play the upgraded versions on PS5
