add a chatroom?

wouldn't it be nice if there was a chatroom on the website? you could pop in and say "i ****ing hate makosi" and just waltz back out knowing full well no one can ever quote it, the message will be deleted, and people will forget that you don't like makosi

also add those classic chat room sounds you'd find of forums in the late 2009s and you got a deal!

why use this instead of the chat thread?
  1. looks nicer
  2. different categories/rooms can be made (good for when heres 2 different convos in chat threads
  3. u cant posts images or gifs (a HUGE plus for some people!)
  4. different coloured names (GET SOME COLOUR IN YA LIFE!)
  5. Chatrooms were in its prime in 2004-2006. also when Big Brother was perceived to be at its best. so really we are paying tribute to that era of BB as true BB fans with a chatroom
  6. roleplay (moniqua is sam and milja is amanda)
  7. probably easier to clean up than the chat thread when the forum collectively loses its **** every 4 weeks
  8. sorta encourages offtopic conversation even when the chat thread doesnt call for it
  9. fun

The best way to attract new members is by setting the site back by 20 years

IIRC TiBB actually used to have one back on the old edition of the forum before it switched over to this format in (I think) 2009? Don't remember using it much, though.

Yeah I remember that there used to be one on the old site but I don't think I ever used it. I don't really think it'd be that necessary now the majority of members got added to that Discord group, it would seemingly be really difficult for some members to actually be civil on there though if there was one on here again

I think it would be nicer if we had more interesting and civilised threads and participation on the forum so it's a no from me.

Yep, she did, that's the t :clap1:

I mean its almost as if one of my own very interesting chat and games threads could have been discussed elsewhere and used as an idea for the many others.

Or maybe it's not that deep and a few people made threads that everyone could participate in?
