Conspiracies of BB6 - Derek
 

There’s a lot of conspiracies surrounding BB6, was Makosi a mole? Did scabgate occur? Was Kemal possessed by an evil spirit in week 7? Did the bin slip out of Science’s hands? But there is one that still puzzles me a little and that is:

Was Derek influencing nominations? Or was he unfairly targeted?


Throughout his stay in the house he was described by his fellow housemates as a bully, controlling, sly and dishonest. Makosi on week 2 had nominated him stating that he was influencing people to the extent of telling them to switch off their microphones when wanting to talk and inscribing initials on people’s hands and feet.

In week 3 he is excluded from nominations along with Craig and Roberto for discussing Saskia, saying she was a ‘silent assassin’ and that she needed to be put up for nomination. On this same week, he is seen with Roberto in the loft covering up the cameras and then discussing leaving the house. He then asks Roberto if his microphone is still on.

In week 6 Vanessa in a discussion with Makosi mentions that Derek had also tried to influence her vote. A few weeks later Orlaith walks from the house, one of her main reasons was because of Derek. Science had mentioned that Derek could manipulate a lot of people whilst Makosi had also mentioned around this time that Derek had ‘forced’ certain people out of the house.

Then Derek is evicted and during his interview with Davina things take a bit of a twist. Davina mentions that there had been discussions of him influencing people’s votes and asked him whether it was true because producers apparently went through footage of trying to find him cheating but couldn’t find any. Derek answers stating that “someone would say we’ve got some sweets for you and I always put my hands out for sweets” and then an initial or two would be written in the palm of his hands under the bed covers. When pushed to answer who it was he states that it was Vanessa.

Whats the truth? :think: Was Derek plotting against people in the house? Was he a victim being targeted by other people? Or was it a mix of both?

I think the main conspiracies is did Derek actually attend an open casting call to enter the house?

Clearly. Even the housemates themselves said he was influencing nominations.

I still scream thinking about Derek coming near random people and inscribing Sam and Saskia's initials on their hands and then doing his signature wink face at them.
