Why is this even a question? I'm sure some male footballers play in makeup; either way, it's nothing to do with us.

Wearing makeup can’t be good if your running round sweating playing football? Not that I have problem with it or anything but surely it would be a little distracting?

Women in other sports wear makeup too sometimes, athletics for example

Again, it's their problem and their choice tbh. If it makes them uncomfortable they'll stop doing it. If the coach thinks it makes them play badly, they'll have a word.

Otherwise, it's not something which needs rules attached.

pretty sure tennis players wear make up and a game doesn't get sweatier than that
