Croydon stabbing: Pregnant woman killed
 

A woman who was about eight months pregnant has been stabbed to death in south London.

The woman, 26, was found with stab wounds at a home in Raymead Avenue, Thornton Heath, Croydon, at 03:30 BST and pronounced dead at the scene.

Scotland Yard said the woman's baby had been delivered by paramedics and taken to hospital. The child remains in a critical condition.

A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Aw.... that's so sad. I thought as the child was 8 months along it might have stood a chance.

Poor little man, like Livia said I had hopes he would live as he was 8 mths,but sadly it wasn't to be.

Such an upsetting story, one filled with all the horrors imaginable.I hope there is an afterlife and she is giving that poor mite the warmth it deserved before some selfish bastard took it away

I think as mum was in cardiac arrest when he was delivered he had probably been without oxygen for too long. :sad:

Or it also suffered stab wounds.:bawling:

Police believe the woman may not have known her attacker and this could be a random attack.

But she may have let him in.

What kind of monster do you have to be?...:(
