That’s good of them, give him 10 years!

Swan 05-07-2019 04:11 PM

Im more concerned in what these disgusting child groomers get tbh.

Jail time for live streaming outside a courthouse?

If someone raised charges for assault I could understand, but getting him for something so trivial smacks of agenda.

You can't film outside of a courthouse when there are restrictions in place, to do so risks a mistrial or sensitive information such as the victims' identities being revealed. Robinson's actions could have easily caused a mistrial which would have drawn out the nightmare for the victims.

Robinson pretty much risked justice for the victims in order to raise his own profile and it's disgusting and I hope he gets those two years.

Perhaps a better idea would be to have a big fat transvestite reporting on these grooming gangs, then the focus would be on what it was supposed to be on and not the fat bastard bringing it to our attention.

He could plead ignorance, which many would agree is probably true.

I didn't know it was illegal to film outside courthouses - I'd probably guess that it is if the question came up, but I never knew it offhand. Robinson just probably didn't know it was illegal, and if he knew the possible repercussions for the victims he probably wouldn't have done it.

Cetainly not if he knew it could have caused a mistrial....but his whole reason for being there was to show the faces of these brutal paedophiles for all to see...a bit like the paedophile hunters who get praised by many...yes he was willing to face consequences whilst filming..and perhaps after..but I doubt it was to raise his own profile...more to do with outing these beasts...who btw...all walked to court..none were brought up the stairs.

It's only illegal if there are restrictions in place which is usually the case when it involves minors and/or sexual abuse because of the anonymity afforded to the victims in both circumstances.

I believe he was warned that it was illegal multiple times, I remember reading that when it happened. He just valued his livestream numbers more than the law or justice.

Let's not pretend he did it for anything other than attention for his videos and streams.

The difference between peadophile hunters (when it's done right) and Tommy Robinson is that the latter aren't in it to make money, they remain anonymous and operate within the law to ensure justice is served, Tommy Robinson risking justice for those victims in order to get more views is not the same.

That's true..I remember that as well..

The police should have stopped him long before he got his camera out if they knew...so if they didn't you should ask why.

You can buy paedophile hunter merchandise.

Edit..you can't. ...surprised at that to be honest.

I dunno dezzy...you do make a good point about the money, but he has put himself into a sticky situation for something he believes on, I think you underplay that side of him a bit.

Let's face it, we should all be outside that building right now if these men are guilty of the charges brought before them.
