What were you in your school plays?

I was usually the Narrator because I had a good reading voice.

I was always an Inn Keeper in the nativities.

Then an ogre in Puss in Boots and then “the host” in Snow White!

I played Dumbledore in a Harry Potter/Lord Of the rings mash up we did.

I also played a tree, sheep, a shop keeper and monkey

I used to love our school plays and I'm not sure if it's the same for everyone but my primary school had each year group do their own

Mary. Aww bless.

Shepherd number 2

Alf 02-08-2019 10:41 PM

Scrooge in Scrooge

Dick Whittington in Dick Whittington

One of the three Kings in The Nativity (Can't remember why I didn't get the Joseph part)

I also played Polly the Parrot, but I can't remember what play that was. (I was demoted to this part because I'd been naughty, I usually took the lead role in most plays)

I was easily the best actor in my Primary school, it all went down hill when I went to Senior school, and my career was over at the age of 11.

I wrote a Tibb Nativity once featuring Smithy as the baby Jesus.

Our primary school had each class do their own. There were 8 classes, so there’d be one at the end of every half term.

I always got the main role because I was the only one who had any kind of stage presence lmao

Although ONE time I missed the auditions because of a TRIP and they gave it to someone else so they made a role for me where I dressed as a detective and sat in stage for the WHOLE show reading out **** dad jokes intermittently and I was that BORED I started rocking on my chair and fell off the back of the stage

But lucky for me the ladies in reception came to the rescue and gave me hot chocolate and chocolate fingers so really I won

Daniel-X 03-08-2019 08:52 AM

I can’t sing nor dance and they were always musicals so I always got the biggest role that didn’t involve singing or dancing. When we’d occassionaly do things in lessons like reading aloud from playscripts and the likes though I always got the biggest role.

Crimson Dynamo 03-08-2019 09:34 AM

I was Dennis Nilsen in an alternative look at the nativity at Primary school. Me and John Wayne Gacy and Ted Bundy were the 3 wise men and a Joachim Kroll and a Jeffrey Dahmer in drag were mary and Joseph

:flutter:

I always got cast as Jesus :dazzler:

Morgan. 03-08-2019 10:28 AM

In the nativity once I threw a spanner in the works and I didn’t audition for Joseph and they couldn’t find another suitable role they hadn’t already given someone else so I played the star :dazzler:
