slow-cooked gammon (yes, i'm a 2 meats kinda gehl) stuffing (balls not slab) roasters (must be crispy af) carrots cabbage 2 yorkers gravy (not too thick, not too thin) |
Christmas dinner is the ultimate roast dinner

Slow cooked beef, roasties and mash (yes, 2 potatoes!), homemade yorkshires and thick gravy. Sometimes with mint sauce.

I couldn't tell you which is the best, I like too many. I can tell you the worst I have ever seen ..... It was in a restaurant in France where the waiter was excitedly telling us what the special of the day was ...... Tête de veau

Roast chicken
Stuffing that was cooked inside the chicken Roasties and mash Honey roast parsnips Veg (broccoli, cauliflower, peas, carrots, sweetcorn sometimes, cabbage and swede) Yorkshires obvs I make the best gravy in the world, period! And mint sauce :drool: |

Yorkshire pudding (done in beef dripping) Roast Potatoes (done in beef dripping) Peas Carrotts and turnip (mashed together) Cauliflower Gravy Glass of Red |
Chilli and rosemary roast lamb, with broccoli, cauliflower cheese, sweetcorn, roast potatoes, mint sauce, and rich, dark gravy.

Lamb Yorkshire puddings x like 8 A **** load of gravy Cauliflower cheese Stuffing Sweetcorn Mint sauce Red cabbage I could go on but I wouldn’t know where to stop |
Roast pork with crackling
Roast beef preferably a cut like Brisket thats a bit stringy Roast potatoes cooked in dripping Boiled new potatoes tossed in butter One yorkie but only one cuz they fill up the plate too much Seasonal sauted veg not bothered what but preferably not peas. Loads of gravy not too thick |
