Shame there’s no Bryan Cranston as Walter White... makes sense if it’s a sequel though.

Can't wait :D

Didn't even know this was happening :omgno: perched

Er, I want to be excited, but Jesse without Walt just won't work I don't think. The main thing with this was how well the actors/characters bounced off each other. So IMO< the only way a film could work well, was if it was set before Walt died tbh.

Spoiler:

Bryan Cranston has been filming for this, I presume it will only be in flashbacks

Or Jesse's PTSD giving him hallucinations?

Just finished watching twenty five minutes ago or so:

Spoiler:

What an amazing send-off for Jesse, already one of my all-time favorite TV characters and this movie exemplified it . Always got the impression while watching the movie there was a chance he'd get caught by the end but even before the movie's release, I thought the whole spectacle ending in his arrest would be quite redundant to do a movie about, so to see this whole journey of how he went about turning his life completely around felt gratifying and earned . Jesse went through so much hardship, suffering and misery throughout all of Breaking Bad so to see him finally get his happy ending was what he deserved after all this time. This is how you do a happy ending for a drama right; make the person really earn it as much as they can. The last scene where he thinks back about a conversation he had with Jane in which he appreciates her metaphor to go where the universe takes her but then she replies it's a bad metaphor and he should choose where he goes himself? It felt like a perfect bookend for the fact that he spent the whole show having to do whatever people told him to and finally found his sanctuary in life. Well worth the two hours .

Spoiler:

It was a fantastic send off for him, his memories of the various characters were interesting to see, I'm glad he got a happy ending

I still have 6 episodes left to watch of the series but hopefully i can get through them today so I can watch this tomorrow

Just finished watching this, a fantastic film, would 100% recommend to anybody who watched Breaking Bad.

Spoiler:

I really liked the flashbacks to previous characters, as well as the references to Breaking Bad. Before watching, I just assumed that Jesse would die, given that, you know, it’s Breaking Bad, and most people died over the course of that show, so I was really shocked, but also glad to find out that Jesse in fact does not die, and ends up getting a happy ending. I felt this was such a good ending to the film and Breaking Bad as a whole.

It had also been a while (4 years I think?) since I’d seen Breaking Bad, and I was initially concerned that my memory of it might be a bit too fuzzy to the point that I wouldn’t be able to appreciate the film as much as everyone else, but that wasn’t a problem. (I had to double check a character’s name but apart from that) Excellent film. :clap1:

Beautiful epilogue.
Spoiler:

walking down the hallway with Walt and that diner scene made me so happy

user104658 13-10-2019 07:35 PM

Enjoyed this very much, the ending Jesse deserved I think. I also very much enjoyed...

Spoiler:

that to get the money he needed to start his new life, he had to "go a little Heisenberg". Just for a few minutes, and then he could start over. So it was sort of like, he had learned the "best"(?) of Walter's clever, cold brutality but he could do it just to get what he needed and then let it go. Which is what Walter couldn't do... He always wanted more.
