It's the first act announced and you're already making ott comments asking for a sick bucket.

https://www.eurovision.de/news/ESC-2...marino606.html
Pascal & Robert, a editor and presenter, from NDR and Bremen 1, in Germany want to represent san marino next year :D with a troll act, well it can't get worse than serhat, and have a good backing vocalist team and you'll do great they look iconic too :) |
Serhat gave San Marino their best result
|
san mariyes, san marino, i must confess i love you so this has potential  for improvements with great production team behind it, decent singing for people who never have performed, or done anything before within music industry |
Melfest2020 news then
amanda aasa was already confirmed yes so we got Victor Crone Hanna Ferm (she was last year at melfest too but then with Liamoo) Jakob Karlberg most famous for this song and SVT are trying to sign Carola for a winner comeback |
The slogan for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam is 'Open Up'.
|
I'm crying
|
Quote:
However, my first thought when I read that was Stephen and Kimberly and it nearly ruined it for me. |
at a late night talk show here, some of our esc experts called it one of the better slogans too compared to a ''dare to dream''
Open Up can literally relate to anything, which makes it simple yet powerful :D |
As a slogan, I do like "Open Up", especially after hearing the reason they chose it.
However, it being a double entendre with its actual meaning and the possible innuendo which can be percieved from it does make it offputting. I hope that the logo that goes with the slogan has something to do with hands holding up perpendicular from eachother, but the bridge of Rotterdam could also be implemented in some way, or something which relates to Rotterdam 'opening up' so possibly something to do with its port. They said they originally wanted to go with a water theme, so they could still possibly stick with it somehow. Let's just see what happens though. |
Bulgaria are back
|
yes with help of a sponsor who will fund them, to find a song/producer/staging etc
so they got Lucky and Hungary withdrew for next year so most likely gonna be 42 countries, Moldova never officially confirms in any esc fansite so i think they'll be on the final participants list |
this is Miro now (2010 artist for them with angel si ti) he has improved a lot since then, more depth in his voice, and he wouldn't be a bad choice, a ballad in bulgarian, he could be able to pull off a Montenegro 2014 result, sort of ''moj svijet'' yes it is good to see him still being around in their music scene :) but this is who i would prefer |

Hungary's MTVA declines to give confirmation on the withdrawal rumours, hmmmm maybe they are in discussions about all scenario's  |
finland UMK finalists will be revealed on 21st of January
Bulgaria artist reveal on november 25th as for finland i am expecting something in finnish now (given saara was near last, nq's with norma john, darude and all of those in english) and more work on overall performance |
Georgia will choose artist first now with ongoing georgian idol
and song later on, at some point so hypothetically they can be one of last entries to be revealed and one of those idol judges david evgenidze will compose the songs for whoever wins that talent show and rights to represent them at rotterdam |
Hopefully this means that we will get something widely appreciated by Georgia, I find them so underrated within ESC (although Junior Eurovision is a different story).
|
pls announce rick as your artist already UK, i mean this song is eligible since its released within song submission deadline, it is a bop, he's become a more natural superb vocalist you want something good, better send him to our rotterdam :fist: @Jay, yes Georgia are junior eurovision's most successful country, next to Spain i guess who were before their withdrawal only in top 5 (and now their return after 13 years with a operatic song called Marte) |
https://wiwibloggs.com/2019/11/01/cz...gation/244067/
czechs have a new head of delegation, Cyril Hirsch and he is also a producer of ''Stardance'' czech version of strictly come dancing/dancing with the stars |
Absolutely not at him.
|
this is the venue where we are all going next year, it already a junior eurovision event, back in 2007 |
