No experience dancers?

Aren't they any experience dancers this series?

Denver 08-09-2019 02:22 PM

Emma B is a ringer

RileyH 08-09-2019 02:25 PM

Karim has some experience I think

Liam- 08-09-2019 02:25 PM

Emma B has done musicals and Karim has judged dance competitions I read somewhere

Morgan. 08-09-2019 02:26 PM

Tbh I’m fine with dance experience as long as it’s not Ballroom and Latin. It’d be boring if they were all ****. It’s like an ex backing singer going on the X factor, they’ll obviously be good but can still be enjoyable to watch.

Didn’t Alex Scott win one if the strictly sport relief specials before?

Same.

I didn't mind people like Alexandra Burke,Ashley Roberts,Alesha Dixion and Faye (others too) as they still have to learn latin and ballroom and their not professionals in latin/ballroom just pop music. Alexandra Burke dancing in Bad Boys and other songs isn't really latin/ballroom dancing and Ashley in the pussycat dolls

Yeah this for me really, if someone has done panto/a play/a musical, it’s not really that bad imo, but people who have danced all their lives, even professionally at some point I draw the line, anyone that’s judged a dance thing as an ‘expert’ shouldn’t be allowed on there either

The dance competition Karim judged had nothing to do with ballroom or Latin

Was it Street Dancing out of interest?

But yeah for me I have no issues with experienced dancers as long as they're not trained in Ballroom/Latin.

I do however object to professional dancers being contestants on DOI due to having a massive advantage over the other contestants, but that's a different story altogether.

But he was still seen as enough of an ‘expert’ to judge dancing

Ryebailey23 08-09-2019 03:01 PM

Its 2 different types of dancing and it's harder going from one dance to a totally different type of dance then it is being a novice

I get the feeling that Karim could be brilliant. A dark horse.

Nicky91 08-09-2019 04:24 PM

i have a feeling Oti might have a good contender for glitterball in Kelvin, like she already has experience around soap stars, with Danny Mac, and i have a feeling Kelvin might be strong in the dramatic dances (rumba, tango, paso, argentine tango) he won a soap award at a young age for his dramatic character scenes on emmerdale

Mitchell 08-09-2019 06:19 PM

Karim is deffo a ringer
