US back to school ad

Imagine having to worry about your kids going to school for that reason? Guns are just more important than children I guess

The Slim Reaper 19-09-2019 10:53 AM

The kids need to start giving millions to politicians if they want to be equal to gun manufacturers.

If they can't be bothered to do that, then how interested in living are they?

Cherie 19-09-2019 10:58 AM

that's grim

Exactly what I was going to post....

Hard hitting ad... it's so alien to think that that's what some parents have to worry about when sending their kids off to school :(

Shaun 19-09-2019 12:02 PM

Pretty chilling. When you consider how many kids won't even get to send that text over the next 10 months.

i was kind of hoping it was going to be a dark comedy

Gun nuts are utterly insane and nothing will shake them from the belief that their right to bare arms is worth any cost. I've interacted with a fair few and it's like talking to a brick wall. If you ask why Assault rifles or automatic weapons like the AR-15 need to be sold to the public they'll get caught up in the pedantics of telling you that the AR-15 is not an assault weapon or an automatic like it matters to these children getting murdered. The US is beyond hope, it truly is.

'The new norm': High school designed to protect students if there's a mass shooting

Everybody doing as much as they can except trying to make the guns harder to get.

Same folks that go nuts over abortion, suddenly lose interest once they've been born.

Pro-life is simply pro-control over women's bodies, nothing more and nothing less.

Not one pro-lifer in the US that harasses people at abortion clinics will ever consider taking similar actions against guns despite all these shootings.

That's a very good point Slim, I would be terrified every day if my kids went to school if I lived over there:wavey:

Theres endless replies on the twitter thread along the lines of...gun free zones are putting our kids in danger, put more guns into schools and everything will sort itself out!! Jesus.

...it’s such a shocking vid, I think I’ve seen something similar before...and the most shocking and sad thing about it, is that we know how true it is for far too many school children and staff...and what you say is the incredible irony of it all..so much control over females and life being born... and yet no care for the preservation of young life...all of those children who have become sacrifices to the senseless gun laws as they stand...
