Who is this years dark horse?

I'm thinking Will! Tempted to shove a tenner on him @ 25/1

LukeB 30-09-2019 07:05 PM

Chris?

Lewismacfarlane 30-09-2019 07:07 PM

Chris Catherine or will

Liam- 30-09-2019 07:16 PM

Mike probably, I can see him having the Chris Hollins effect and it would be awful!

I’d want it to be Chris though

Shaun 30-09-2019 07:22 PM

Dev, Will or Catherine.

Assuming the two front-runners are Kelvin and Karim, then you'd have to say Michelle based on scoring too. I don't see the public really rooting for an older, non-British woman though.

GiRTh 30-09-2019 07:30 PM

Dev, Will, Saffron.

Maybe Alex but expectations are quite high for her. Catherine maybe if her partners stops stitching her up. That Samba routine on Saturday was far to fast and difficult for week two. She was struggling all the way thru.

Saffron is being undermarked in comparison to others - Not others Michelle - so that may go for her in the later rounds.

There are the two clear favorites and Think the winner will be one of those two but without them its a very open year.

Strictly Jake 30-09-2019 07:30 PM

I have a feeling about will aswell!

I have to agree with all your predictions here.

I think Mike and Katya will last a lot longer than people would think

as much as i'd love to, i sadly cannot see her winning over enough public support to go all the way :bawling:

but i'm her fan till the end of her journey anyway

as a non-actress i have no expectations for her at movie week, just prayers/hopes this week is good for her to work on character, storytelling, more fun, yet same determination from tango, and more energy throughout the dance from beginning to end

i think titanic would be suitable theme for her, also aristocrat there she can play Rose i think, and also think my heart will go on suits a ballroom dance as well, maybe slow waltz  and that song is one of my all time fave movie songs

That's really great advice for her there, Nicky, and I agree with your choice of character and music for her. It makes sense. I hope she does well for you.

my cha cha score was a 7 out 10, my tango score was a 5 out 10 (mostly because of her losing energy, otherwise i would've given possibly 7 or an 8 so i found that a bit of a shame but you can learn from mistakes throughout your strictly journey

and lady emma is a complete beginner to dancing, performing so she has a decent start i think

BigSister 03-10-2019 08:22 PM

I agree with Nicky over Emma and she has a good partner too
I also think Dev Will and Michelle are dark horses too

yeah, she's living her childhood dreams right now, emma could've had a role on game of thrones but she prefers presenting over acting

and now in strictly she can learn how to act, dance, perform

she's this years complete novice, basically similar to susan calman in certain ways, of her also being a huge fan of the show

Aljaz sounded confident about her foxtrot on ITT yesterday, she even brought fresh baked cookies to the studio :hee:

GoldHeart 04-10-2019 08:24 AM

Probably Chris
