Alan Carr or Graham Norton
After two episode each featuring the alternating judges. Who did best?
Personally I was disappointed to see Graham back next week in the promo. He wasn't bad last night, but Alan had be dying from laughter in the first episode.
Graham was a bit dry
Alan's Estate Agent critique > Anything Graham did tbh.
I absolutely adore both but Chatty Man used to make me cry with laughter whereas Graham Norton does make me chuckle but Alan is clearly the better judge.
I'm just glad Jonathon Ross has nothing to do with it. |
Neither.
I like both.
Graham Norton normally makes me howl with laughter but he seemed a little restrained on Drag Race. I wonder if he felt uncomfortable. Hopefully he's more himself next week. |
Graham just didn't have his Eurovision wit last night. Alan seems to revel in the role more but it's too early to judge them.
Love both but Alan was hilarious in the first episode
I prefer Alan anyway, I find Graham always has to mock his guests on his show to get a laugh anyway. Alan is just naturally hilarious.
I really dont understand why Graham is still on this show. Every week he is on I miss Alan.
Oh I voted for Graham without seeing what section this thread was in sorry. I just thought you meant who's show/presenting we prefer, you can disregard my vote
Please no more Graham Norton going forward, he is absolutely horrendous.
Both are better than Carlson and Ross and their rehearsed lukewarm jokes anyway. Keep both of them, they're lovely
Alan Carr. He just creases me without fail.
I met him after a show and he was so lovely too, and then later after that me and my mates went to a bar/restaurant and he strolled in and recognised us and stopped and chatted with us for ages. Really nice guy, genuinely. |
I do like both but I do have to question, sometimes, their drag knowledge and tastes... Graham seems to have been incredibly 'safe' and detached from the gay scene since the early 90s, and as such I don't think he really understands the performative or artistic elements so much as the cliches of a cabaret performer, or a runway model. A lot of his comments are often frustrating.
I prefer Alan as a judge just because he's more likely to differ from Michelle/Ru's groupthink... although again, has a questionable taste level (laughing at Ellie Diamond's stand-up despite - or rather in spite of - it being undeniably terrible) I'd like to see someone take a spot who has a very recent performance history in UK drag or something similar: someone like Jodie Harsh, Juno Birch, or even Eddie Izzard. |
...I’d so love to see Eddie Izzard in there as a judge......
...Graham and Alan are just so different, I’ve often seen stuff which compares them and I can’t see why that would tbh....I love them both, anyway....I don’t find Graham ever in his ‘top form’ though, on Drag Race...it’s like he’s just had a little bit of him placed there, a little diluted taster version ...even on Eurovision, I find more of his personality emerging than on Drag Race...
