He’s purposely controversial to garner a reaction and push the ratings up, he’ll never be fired, he wouldn’t still have a career if he didn’t play that part, I don’t think he’s a bigot, he does stand up for gay rights and trans rights, he just tends to draw the line at the ridiculous like most people do, he’s still a pompous, arrogant bully, but a bigot? I don’t think so.

Should he be fired and blacklisted from tv I wouldn’t miss him in the slightest, but it should be based on his complete ignorance on basic things like mental health and sexual harassment, a company like ITv which has now launched this new mental health campaign (which is complete damage control mission itself) shouldn’t give a platform to man who regularly belittles and simplifies male mental health issues, his attitude of ‘you can’t even talk to women anymore without them complaining!!’ Should also not be given a platform, he’s an obnoxious pig that should have been binned and thrown out with the News of the World

I never said he had.

I was pointing out that pointing out something positive about someone doesn't suddenly mean the negative doesn't exist. Especially when the two things aren't linked.

I think it started when itv did that mental health advert about talking to each other and piers morgan telling a man who is struggling with mental health to man up before and still working for itv. (And other stuff)
