[Vanishing faces, uncontrollably
spinning wrestlers and disappearing
referees are not what fans expected
to see when they started up WWE 2K20.
The latest entry in the
professional wrestling video game series
has been slated on social media,
with one fan calling it "literally unplayable".
The hashtag #FixWWE2K20 has been tweeted 25,000 times since the game was released on 22 October.
Fans say the software is plagued with glitches.
In one example, Rey Mysterio's mask dissolved into his face.]

Sack the Director
who put this Disc out.

Don't they always have bugs in the WWE 2k releases?

Yeah but this is ridiculously bad. Search Twitter honestly. It’s unbelievable how they were allowed to release it.

Shocking the Director
allowed this out
should have help back production
until it was corrected in so many scenes

Every game has been hot trash since 2K took over but this is another level :skull:

That is funny yet terrible for the buyers.

I honestly don't get why developers release games long before they're ready.

From what I gather re: the release date is it's out of 2K's hands, WWE has the final say on release date and are extremely strict with their product deadlines. WWE must have their main video game released annually... So if it's got issues by release, it's released anyway - then patched throughout the following months. :skull:

Well WWE should be wanting good PR for their games, rushing an incredibly glitchy game out is doing brand damage imo.

It's worth noting this is the first year the game wasn't developed by Yuke's who have been doing WWE games since the first WWF Smackdown. Seems the replacement developers were clueless on how to make the game.

This guy sums it up well

user104658 24-10-2019 07:52 AM

Bugs are (sadly) commonplace these days, but yes, this looks pretty next level :umm2:

Yuke's the company who made all the Wrestling games before this left due to getting tired of making yearly releases, on the upside, they're making their own wrestling game now

Know what would actually be quite fun? A sort of dystopian fantasy wrestling game that's like WWE except it's not basically acrobatics, they are genuinely tearing each other apart, but in a really over the top / showmanship sort of way with really heavy impact fight mechanics and a good story campaign (as well as a free play "seasons" mode).

Sort of like a Thunderdome with Limp Bizkit and flashing lights. Modern/Near Future gladiators with steel chairs.

They should make that.

I'd play the **** out of that.

This is why I like buying games on Steam; if you've played less than 2 hours, and purchased 2 weeks ago or less, you just click a button and get a no-questions-asked full refund. All digital platforms should adopt that model, IMO.
