Federico\'s Apology
 

Let's start afresh on this subject. :hugesmile:

What did everyone think of the circumstances surrounding Federico's apology tonight.

I must admit, although I thought Fed was being embarrassing and unfunny the other night, I thought it was ever so sanctimonious of Big Brother to complain about Federico's Avid impression. They were the one's who foisted Avid Merrion on the public in the first place. And that probably resulted in the guy being imititated in playgrounds up and down the land.

On a side note, notice how Graham Norton failed to bring this story up in his monologue tonight (I only watched this bit to hear what he said about BB btw). More Gos is fat and Jon's a nerd 'jokes'. :sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep:

I thought Big Brother did the right thing in chastising him for his behaviour last night.

Federico did seem genuinely sorry that he had offended the Big Brother in question and, hopefully, that will be the end of the matter.

I'm glad big brother told him off aswell,I think he needs something to knock him a bit,he seems to think hes playing the comedy role,but so far its not working!:nono::nono:

Absolutely the right thing to do - nothing as bad as inappropriate behaviour (just ask my class...)

Im also relieved that fed was told off . It perhaps was a joke to him but it did'nt sound nice for that lady bb to have to listen to.:hello:

I think this is starting to get out of control, myself. He was just having a laugh. Like lads do sometimes. My God I've heard much worse in my life. Working with Lads, it's how they act sometimes. It's office pc gone mad, in my opinion. It is an adult show after all. He was doing a Impression of Avid Merrion, which was a bit long, that was his mistake. Give him a break. :conf:

Federico's performance in the diary was equivalent to an obcene phone caller talking filth to a woman to satisfy some perverted urge to make the victim feel disgust.

My houshold was a victim of a perverted idiot like that and it is far from being funny.

The only thing I regret is BB didn't go the whole way and remove him. Sorry but that's the way I feel.:devil:

I've not seen the offending material so I can't comment on what Fed has said or done, but I don't like Avid Merrion - I think he's a nasty, filthy piece of work and I wish he wasn't associated with Big Brother in any way!

I accept that BB is mainly for adults, but as an adult, I still think Avid is gross!

You wouldn't have liked it, Janette:thumbs: It will probably be on the uncut vid though, ch4 will make a bit of money out of it, no doubt. :shocked:

Fair point Steve, I know he's very popular with some people and they're welcome to their uncut videos, personally I like Cameron talking about his fish better!
