Been buying bits and bobs with various "weekly ASDA shops" (tubs of sweets, biscuits, the Xmas pudding, etc.)

As for presents I bought all of my friends' back in July :skull: and have 3 of my family's... but still need around 8 more gifts.

No to:
- cards
- wrapping / postage
- booze
- the main christmas dinner

yet

Nothing, I have no Christmas spirit at all this year at all and I usually love it

smudgie 14-11-2019 09:10 AM

Nearly done.
Our lovely daughter was home for half term and brought nearly all the present shopping up with her, plus we ordered more when she was here.
Last of my new Xmas decs arrived yesterday, more garlands and a wreath plus tree decs.
Chocs, cakes, stollen etc in cupboard.
Just need to order beer and cider etc, plus the turkey then it’s about done.
The rest will just be a normal weekly shop.

we have decided to get all our Christmas food from M& S this year and have gone a little off-piste with a Norfolk Black Turkey rather than a bronze :omgno:

The one on the advert looks divine.
But far too big for us, and far too expensive.

listen to Classic FM coming home from work as that will get you in the mood

I've bought all my presents and have a fat, free-range turkey in the freezer. Every year I want one of those Heston Christmas puddings from Waitrose, the one with the whole orange inside, and every year I miss out... but I got one this year. Hanukkah starts on 22nd December this year, I love it when Hanukkah falls at Christmas.

You realise we don't have the same Radio stations in ireland as the UK? Although we do have a station called Classic FM but it's Irish. Xmas FM will be starting Dec 1st though so maybe I'll see if that will help
