Not too sure atm but I think it will be available

Nerd 10-12-2019 06:07 PM

I think it is interesting that it's being advertised as a 'three week event'. Will Netflix start doing daily episode drops to limit the spoilers?

Crimson Dynamo 10-12-2019 06:08 PM

this can only be good news

I sure hope so! It would be a shame if it was all at once and somebody skipped to the end to see the winner

LukeB 10-12-2019 06:22 PM

I hope it's on UK netflix but after James was slated for playing the game i can see the same happening to all of them who does us Circle

I thought one of the profile pics was Rylan for a sec. :laugh2:

Did the show originate in the UK or elsewhere?

I've noticed most things originate in the UK and the Americans steal it :hee:

Minus BB and Survivor, because those started in Nicky's home country of the Netherlands, and then everyone started to do 'em.

Hardly a steal when it's the same production company behind all four versions of this show... Given that all four versions used the same production base I can only assume that most if not all the production crew were kept on staff as well.

GoldHeart 11-12-2019 11:12 AM

Is it the same apartment block in the UK?? , how strange I assumed this one would be filmed in America.

So it's American because of the contestants then and new host? .

It’s an American show but because they’re pilot seasons (USA, France, Brazil) it’s cheaper to produce it in one place than to build new blocks locally and risk the show not succeeding.

Nicky91 11-12-2019 11:17 AM

Don’t

:skull:

It’s cheaper to fly everyone to the UK and use the same crew than it is to set up a new production base in each country. So even if Netflix pick up The Circle for another series I doubt they will relocate.

Yeah obviously - although if it is a huge success and is gonna be a long running show it’s gonna be cheaper to relocate in the long term. But neflix dont do long-running these days so I imagine I’ll remain here.
