That's pretty rude though. A nice person would of told the truth.

Mystic Mock 15-12-2019 02:51 AM

A good scheme, but you probably should be careful where you advertise this information.

Glenn. 15-12-2019 04:02 AM

Strictly Jake 15-12-2019 06:52 AM

Yeah thats illegal and you have stolen food

smudgie 15-12-2019 07:19 AM

The poor underpaid driver will probably have to pay the shortfall out of their own pocket.....and not even a tip.

This is actually correct, if you accept the wrong change knowingly then it becomes theft. If the police come a-Knockin' you'd be best to claim that you didn't notice.

Also screwing over a small business like a local take-away is a crappy thing to do. I'm not going to start hand-wringing over people getting the occasional one up on multi-million/billion £ entities but your local kebab shop? Their profit margin probably isn't huge to start with, you're literally taking money out of their pocket. Even worse if they make the delivery driver pay it themself.

Nothing to be proud of and brag about.

Beso 15-12-2019 09:44 AM

Amy Jade 15-12-2019 11:14 AM

Jigs 15-12-2019 11:39 AM

Exactly

It’s horrible! Stole from a business and the delivery man will probably have it taken out of his wage or made them pay it now.

He didn't. He gave him a tenner but then confused the driver and said he gave him 20 and the driver asked if he had the 30p so he could give him a round tenner change.

So he gave him a tenner and got a tenner back.

In the story that is, as this didn't happen.

oop so i was right then, the op never made any sense so it's going to confuse people.

but yeah i don't think it happened, i mean you can easily tell difference between a £10 note and £20 note.

In the dark it’s not so easy to see...and if the guy put it straight in his pocket with his other cash, he would have to take Michaels word for it. Which is why you should keep it separate until after the change has been given then you are covered..
