How much do you hate Mondays?

As the title says.

Ammi 16-12-2019 07:22 AM

...the thing worse than waking up on a Monday morning, is not waking up on a Monday morning...seriously, I don’t hate them at all, they’re a day like any other day and full of the lovely and the annoying, like any other day...and they’re a walkthrough to a day closer to the weekend again...

Strictly Jake 16-12-2019 07:53 AM

I wanna shoot the whole day down....boomtown rats

Amy Jade 16-12-2019 08:13 AM

I don't mind mondays

Niamh. 16-12-2019 08:29 AM

Beso 16-12-2019 09:09 AM

I usually like them cause I like my work and the routine it brings....NOT TODAY THOUGH, This Monday is a twat.

i take the smallest boy LT to school and this morning it was lovely and snowy, the road sides were full of pine trees laden with snow and we had Christmas songs on. When he was dropped off i took the hounds onto the golf course and we walked in the thick freezing fog. On the way home I called my old pal Jem and he told me in meticulous detail his cooking and prep timetable for Christmas Eve and the big day as he is having 15.

Mondays are brilliant! :hee:

Kate! 16-12-2019 10:11 AM

Scarlett. 16-12-2019 11:53 AM

I work weekends so Mondays are just a normal day to me

GoldHeart 16-12-2019 11:57 AM

Most people who start their working week on a Monday hate them, I find it tolerable as I only work a half day...done now :cheer2:

Yeah well that's it, if it's not the first day of the working week for you, it's not going to have the same level of significance

Calderyon 16-12-2019 12:49 PM

Used to not like them, now they're just a day like others.

The TL said to me last night on the way to Tesco (as we were talking about what she was doing at work in the am) "urg I really need a holiday" I said ffs you have just had 2 days holiday and you get another in 5 days time!

What are you even on about, your Monday morning consisted of spending time with your son, your friends and taking your dog for a walk, not exactly work is it?

i was back home by 10 working and will be working when she arrives home. What is your point?

(and walking her 2 dogs i may add as she allows her recalcitrant daughter to not walk them)

So nice leisurely late start, at home and you act like people should be working 24/7 with no weekends mmhmm

there is nothing leisurely about getting up at 6.30 and getting a wee boy up and out by 7.30, unfreezing a car (all doors frozen shut die to frozen rain) driving 45 minutes up snowy roads, walking dogs in -3, driving another 45 home to start work in an office that was 0C and took 2 hours to get to 10 C.

im not complaining because its my choice but easy it aint

Bit of a different tone to the Monday morning experience in this post compared to how you described it in your first post on the thread..........
