yep she did, each year a few islanders go for a meeting with itv to discuss stuff, some turn it down and they pick out of the ones who are interested.

Amber has already said she lost the position? She said in hindsight she’d probably have thought about turning it down.

I read similar, the top 4 guys and girls and this year DOI wanted a girl because they've had 2 males already.

Yeah, all of the top 4 girls went for a meeting and Maura showed most interest. Both Maura and Amber have spoken out saying there was no drama.
