me too, was actually past my usual bedtime when it ended but it was so worth watching

our dutch commentators went completely wild, when she had all those 180's

What a great achievement, hopefully it's just the start and we see more women in sports like these that are typically dominated by men.

It makes me wonder why you don't tend to see many women in sports like these where intergender competition is viable.

The Japanese lady nearly did it the other night too. Great TV drama

Darts is one of the few sports where women compete alongside/against men at every level of the game so was only a matter of time before this happened

I play in a league where most teams have at least one female player and I've lost to most of them as well!

Just saw her on the news and she seems like a really great person. Here's hoping she can keep up this form :clap1:

Pfft...I've been stuck on double one against hunchback Helen for twenty minutes as she witted herself down to the same score...one dart Helen now...the hunchy witch that she is..

and she did it again, beating the 11th ranked Suljovic with 3-1

:dazzler: :clap1: :clap1: a 131 finish, 104 finish and finishing with a 86 (twice single 18 and bullseye)

A great match, and great atmosphere

So nice to see so many men supporting her

All my boys are rooting for her

I don't have much to do with darts but I am following it a bit more because of her. I'll always support trailblazers that can break the glass ceiling.

she was also 3 darts away from recording the first ever televised 9 dart finish by a woman

:amazed:

thesheriff443 22-12-2019 05:53 PM

She did great, but any man who ever played darts knows there is added pressure when playing a woman.

We are in agreement.

Anyone that gets thrown off by the fact that she's a woman to the point that they can't respect her as an equal competitor deserves to lose. Step up to the plate or get cast aside.
