From Tesco staff, I asked for two bags and was told after Christmas we are putting the price up and two bags would cost one pound fifty.

Don't over fill it and it will last longer than one use.

People used to put 6 bottles of bloody 2 litre coke in a plastic bag and come and have a whinge that it broke.

But we do have a ball bag so it’s kinda fair

Everyone should have their own selection of re-usable bags by now, I don't see a problem with the crappy single use ones being expensive, hopefully it encourages people to buy less of them.

I give mine away mostly I think it’s just years of getting free bags then not worrying about buying bags that sees me keep going to shop with out one

Like people that smoke they know it’s bad but keep doing it

Where do men keep them, in their pockets??

Marsh. 18-12-2019 09:24 PM

I keep them in the glove box. Very handy.

thesheriff443 18-12-2019 09:32 PM

We need the scientists to come up with a complete meal in one pill like they have done with vitamins.

Then we can do a full shop with just a pocket

We keep our bags under the sink and when we are going shopping we carry them down to the car. If we're going somewhere closer then we'll carry a bag by the handles in our hand. I used a backpack sometimes if I am going on foot further away. There is no excuse. Also, there are many options for re-usable bags, the mesh cloth bags fold up very small and there are also some others which fold into a little pouch which is smaller than a wallet. I never keep bags in my handbag either.

Also, it sounds like you would like a handbag, so why not have one?

He has got a bottle of scotch in both hands he has no room for a bag in his life.

Good. I think supermarket bags should be £1 in all honesty. And that money should go to tree or countryside preservation.
