I just scammed WH SMiths and i feel like $1,000,000

so i was buying 3 magazines at the self checkout and the first one i beeped
was The Spectator Christmas Special at £6.95 - but when i scanned it as
normal something flashed up on the screen and said "this item is £1.95 yes
or no" Now i was not sure what it retailed at and as i did not have my glasses
i could not check (the price on it is tiny) so i pressed yes and continued on
with my retail transaction for The New Scientist Christmas special and some
Kitchen mag (both for TL Christmas). Instead of it charging me £16.93 it
charged me £11.93:amazed:

I literally stuck it to the man and walked away with a skydiver in my skyrocket

(i dont know why this happened)

Those machines... I got charged five times the amount for one tomato the other day because the machine told me the item had not been placed in the bagging area. Lying bastard.

I don't, unless the queue for the till is too long. :hee:

There have been times where I've walked into a store and the queue for the till is empty, and the queue for the self-checkout is nearing towards the back of the store. It's mental. People would rather do it themselves than do it quickly.

I thought I scanned 2 bars of chocolate at Sainsburys the other day and only did one. I noticed the error before I paid. Did I rectify it?

Just wait until you've accidentally put Pink Ladies through as Braeburns at Tesco :hehe:. £2.20/kilo vs £3.65/kilo

They look the same on the little screen to me

Yes Shaun
another big problem
is weight of foods and stuff.

Those computers
can not work out light weight foods well.

So many double up
some know about it , others do not.

I recently got earrings from Sainburys for free, there were 8.00 and I scanned them but didn't notice they didn't scan properly, dropped them on the belt but they were light to register so it didn't flag there is an unexpected item in your basket or whatever, so I carried on and when I came out I thought that was cheap, checked my receipt and reaslised the earrings didn't show up ….I stuck it to the man just like M21 and LT:dance:
