Christmas Eve or New Year. Which day do you prefer?

Christmas Eve for me.

You?

Christmas Eve.
But I love the New Year’s Day concert from Vienna.

Jigs 20-12-2019 07:55 PM

I get more excited for New Year so I guess that!

LaLaLand 20-12-2019 07:55 PM

Christmas Eve.

As fun as going out for NYE is, it's false as hell (people who would normally pass you on the street without saying a word all over you wishing you all the best etc) and by about 12:30 I can't wait to get home honestly.

GoldHeart 20-12-2019 08:10 PM

Christmas Eve

Beso 20-12-2019 08:28 PM

Xmas morning..the rest can do one.

rusticgal 20-12-2019 08:57 PM

Christmas Eve...especially when the boys were young. Now it’s just enjoyment knowing I’ve done all the hard work and it’s time to just enjoy the festivities.
New year...I can take it or leave it..

Beastie 20-12-2019 09:36 PM

Christmas Eve.

Calderyon 20-12-2019 09:47 PM

Used to be Christmas Eve.

Babayaro. 20-12-2019 11:00 PM

Christmas Eve is spent doing nothing. New Year's Eve is spent drinking/partying/having fun, so I prefer that.

Marsh. 20-12-2019 11:03 PM

Christmas Eve/Day/Boxing Day is always the best Eve drinking/Day spending with family/Boxing Day is the lazy movie day just enjoying the time off.

Not that I have it off this year. :(

NYD is just meh. And like La La Land has said it's false as **** with all the drunken niceness.

Jessica. 20-12-2019 11:24 PM

Definitely Christmas Eve!

Barry. 20-12-2019 11:29 PM

Christmas Eve but I like the day before New year's Day.

BigSister 21-12-2019 12:01 AM

Christmas Eve. New years eve I just find depressing

Brother Leon 21-12-2019 02:07 AM

I would have said NYE, but these days it's probably Christmas Eve tbh. I can definitely tell I'm getting older

Leon  you are just a young whippersnapper yet. X

Shaun 21-12-2019 02:31 AM

I don't think I've done anything for NYE in over 10 years, so...

Ammi 21-12-2019 04:02 AM

... Christmas Eve.....it’s something associated from childhood as a special time, a magical time, an exciting time and specifically a ‘child’s time’....and then obviously that was transferred to my own children...I’ve always loved New Year as well, though...but in a completely different way...
