I have my carving set at the ready to do the honours tomorrow but who carves your tasty big BIRD?

I am not going to savagely eat an animal to commemorate the birth of a magic demigod

I don't like turkey. I much prefer some chicken.

My uncle usually hosts Christmas, as he is this year. Last year the caterers carved the turkey, so we were all really disappointed �� Grandad does it otherwise :)

why, Turkey is for Christmas day not lamb:shrug:

Either hubby or daughter.
Full turkey, part boned to make it easier to carve.

The ‘family’ much prefer lamb over turkey so I’m outnumbered , sadly

I only mentioned it because I was being ridiculed and assumed to be without food. They don't eat turkey for Christmas in Portugal, that's why I said there was no turkey to be seen.

The turkey is the wedding cake of Christmases.

There most definitely IS a difference , Turkey is usually more stringy and and texture is different.
