A Christmas Carol new version BBC 2019

Anybody watching this?

I'm one episode behind but it is an interesting take.

Swearing, Scrooge as a cynical conservative businessman, Tiny Tim's mum quietly supplementing income with prostitution? The last one is my impression so far.

Very relevant today

panned by the critics and folk saying they cant hear it as the actors are mumbling

Dont think they mumble, but true the sound (or lighting for that matter) are not great.
Had to up the volume and use subtitles

Technical stuff aside it's great :nono:

I think youd like this version.

Scrooge utters a line about plebs having no common sense which echoes moggy
