Your favourite years from the 2010's?
 

As this decade draws to a close, looking back, what have been your favourite years?

2011 - the year I left school, I just remember it being such a breath of fresh air
2014 - when I started uni, moved out and the first time I started going out to clubs etc
2015 - probably one of my fave years, the whole year was just a party lol. and I looked SO good around this time.
2016 - same as the year before except the later half of the year was a bit **** for me.
2017 - a great year and possibly the best summer I've ever had, me and my friends would go along the south coast every weekend staying in hotels and going out, Brighton, Portsmouth, Southampton etc.

the last couple years have been pretty crap for me so i'm excited to start a new year!

My choices are mainly based on the summer lol, so 2014, 2017, 2018 and 2019.


The best all-round year has probably been this year, though.

I can't remember much about 2013, 2015 and 2016. 2012 was okay but 2010 and 2011 were not good times.

2018 was my favourite I think on the whole, I’ll always look back on it fondly.

I’ve enjoyed this year for what it’s been but I don’t think it’s one I’ll particularly feel nostalgic about in years to come. 2013/14/16 all stick out as very good years in hindsight.

None have been terrible per se. 2017 was rather dull, as was 2015. And I was still very much a child in 2010/11/12 so it feels a very different time that I just can’t judge really.

2016 has definitely been the best year in my life so far and so much stuff happened throughout the year that I'll always look back so fondly on. Also the year that I "peaked" in.

2010 was also a great year, many amazing memories. 2014 was a good year as well. 2011-2013 were average years.

2015 and 2017-2019 have all been pretty crap years, more negative memories than positive ones unfortunately.

What I'm looking forward to in 2020 is to turn things around and hope that it will be at least a good year for me, after three unpleasant years in a row. I hope this new decade brings a lot to me as well. :)

2012 was my favourite by far. The Olympics had the whole country in a feelgood mood, I was at uni, music was pretty great (Frank Ocean's Channel Orange, Kendrick's good kid maad city, Grimes' Oblivion)... oh and TiBB was still a thing because we had the majesty of BB13.

Voted the other early years for mixed reasons: I was happier then, music was good, I was doing things in those years... but I've enjoyed pretty much every year bar 2016 (hell year) and this year.

2010 - was still school, fun times at school, fun weekends and not a worry in the world
2011 - I left school, was constantly out with friends both day and night, a lot of fun times, started college
2012 - was in college, drinking alot, just a really fun and memorable year
2013 - amazing, left college, went to New York and Ibiza, turned 18, went clubbing around 4 times a week, a hot summer, my favourite album of all time came out this year
2014 - didn't like it, had some bad personal problems and very poor mental health, though there were some highlights
2015 - ok, very uneventful
2016 - worst year of my life for many reasons, far and away the worst
2017 - very good, made a lot of new friends, went on holidays and went to a festival
2018 - poor first half, ok second. dull overall
2019 - average, a slight improvement on last year but nothing special

2012 was a fun year. :love:

2013 was good too and had probably the best summer.

Not its own year as such but the period between Autumn 2015 and Summer 2016 was very eventful for me.

The late-10s have been **** aside from Summer 2018 tbh.

2015 when I finally moved to Portugal.

surely 2013 was the best followed by 2016 but 2017 was awful and 2018 for awfuller. 2019 FTW and 2010 was a stinker and so was 2011. 2012 was okish and 2014 was good in parts

2016 17 and 18 because I went travelling.

2013-2016 were gorgeous.

2019 has been the worst.

2010-2012 was pretty good as I left school in 2010 and was happy at that moment of time, going off to college and having a bit more freedom especially when I got my ID in 2012 :hehe:

2013 was good at first but then became really difficult for personal reasons.

2014-2016 was great, going to many different music events, raves etc. 2016 was the best year out of those 3 however since that was the year I went to Ibiza and made so many great memories. :dance:

2017-present has just been very meh. It’s been ok but nothing has really stood out and there’s been a lot more tough times than good throughout those 3 years.

2016, 2017 and 2018 was such a good trinity of years.

2016 was utter trash

2011 - 2016 were my favourites. 2010 was great for the first half although the second half was awful for personal reasons.

2017 - 2019 have all been terrible and dull.
