What do you believe happened to Madeleine McCann?

Sorry if this seems distasteful as a thread, it’s not meant to be. Just thought it would be interesting to see what everyone on here thinks as it seems everyone has their own theories.

I’m not too sure myself. There’s so much evidence that implicated them, but it would also just seem impossible for them to cover it up (and I don’t get why they’d still want public attention on them after all these years, if they are somehow involved.)

Very strange case.

Accident in the apartment when she wasn’t being watched leading to a cover up by the parents in my opinion.

smudgie 30-12-2019 03:19 PM

Not a clue:shrug:

I think she was abducted, sexually assaulted, murdered, then buried in the hills somewhere.

This. Madeleine got overdosed on the drugs they gave her leading to them disposing of her body somewhere and covering it up as a kidnapping.

I believe something similar happened to JonBenet, her brother killed her and her parents covered it up with the ransom note and everything to save their asses.

Black Dagger 30-12-2019 04:31 PM

I always thought it was an accidental death and they panicked.

But I'm sure LT will come back and bait and call me a moron or something x

2 doctors panic

so they dont grieve the death of their daughter but hatch a cunning plan to cover it up and then spend 10 years keeping it in the news

Yes I also think this. Tbh there is a lot about this case that doesn’t really add up in my opinion and I also found it odd that the parents refused a lie detector to prove their own innocence.

Yeah. Nobody ever heard of parents killing their children, either by accident or otherwise and covering it up.

But surely they would do everything to prove their innocence that they wasn’t involved? Just seems a bit odd to me that they didn’t.

Why would you take a fake test that is unreliable, its madness?

Why would you leave your children in an unlocked apartment with access by a street out of your view at night, in a foreign country, all alone?

Why would you do so just 24 hours after your child told you they sobbed themselves to sleep the night before as they woke up in an empty apartment and couldn't find mum and dad?

Twitter left Maddie alone in an apartment to be killed or kidnapped?

Yeah, ok LT.

Kazanne 30-12-2019 06:28 PM

I dont think she was abducted ,I think she wandered off and fell into a well/shaft etc ,apparently Portugal is littered with them and there was also building works going on, or an accident by the parents, I definitely dont think it was an abduction, but whichever her parents should have been done for neglect at least

Amy Jade 30-12-2019 06:33 PM

I thought it was abduction for ages.

Watched the documentary on netflix and got the feeling Gerry was involved and I do find him odd but idk why but I believe if Gerry did overdose her or hurt Kate wasn't part of it.

She just looked too distraught to be lying imo but who knows

They should’ve done everything to prove their own innocence in my opinion. Not only that but they should’ve been done for child neglect as well.
