Not a bad loan for them.

Fifty million for Bruno Fernandes.

Nice when you can spend 80 million for a defender, 45 million on another, twenty odd on a wingers prospect then when the team doesn't improve at all spunk another 50 million on a midfielder. :bored:

Meanwhile, Arsenal have signed a badly needed defender on loan.

Pablo Mari: Flamengo defender joins Arsenal on loan

Bruno is destined to flop in the current Unitied set up, he has been tempted by money but his career will be ruined

At least they've cooled their interest in Aubameyang. The money would have been nice but we cant afford to lose him at this moment.

This Pablo Mari looks good. Though, if Arteta is anything like Wenger and Emery he wont play till April.

I'm intrigued to see if Klopp will make another splash? I'd like a new defender as I cant trust Matip or Lovren if VVD cant play or a new full back who can cover both wings

You could do with a backup striker for Bobby. Should never have let Ings or Solanke go

I thought he was an attacking mid/winger. So backup for Mane/Salah.

He can play across the front 3 and play False 9 in our cup game, he just has to settle into a faster league

Arsenal interested in signing Southampton right back Cedric Soares. Arteta doing like Pep. Overloading with defenders. Hope so, we need 'em

SO, he's backup for all three? If we see him playing in all those positions then 'what a signing' but I'm not sure he's as versatile as you're saying.

He played all 3 positions at Salzburg and was said to have been the lynchpin of their attack
