Cheese and onion v salt and vinegar debate.

Are they both outdated?

I think they are as a flavours:shrug: but even though you feel like they fill you up more than a pack of salt and vinegar when you're hungry. Cheese and onion just don't wash it.:nono:.Im nearly boaking at the thought of suckling a cheese n onion crisp dry...I've never felt like that with a salt n vinegar crisp, but sometimes with a salt n vinegar it's not always salty n vinegary. Unlike the cheese and onion, which is always cheesy n oniony..

Should we burn both in hell?

Salt and vinegar are AMAZING, but cheese and onion are soooo overrated

Tony Montana 06-01-2020 07:46 PM

Love them both but S&V is the best.

Cherie 06-01-2020 07:49 PM

I like cheese and onion :suspect: especially Tayto

Black Dagger 06-01-2020 07:54 PM

Salt and vinegar only work well on a sandwich.

Cheese and Onion are the ultimate. Flawfree.

AnnieK 06-01-2020 08:11 PM

Salt and vinegar.....but got to be walkers

Withano 06-01-2020 08:12 PM

Salt and vinegar unless I have spare salsa

Jake. 06-01-2020 08:29 PM

Kinda depends on the brand of crisp?

Pringles - S&V

McCoys - Cheddar & Onion

For example

I sweat from the eyeballs suckling them..the cheese n onion ones must have half a millimeter of cheese n onion paste on them as well. ..

Urgh...yuck...they're so big and plentiful in the bag as well..

You should suck on a mini chip.:wavey:

Cheese and onion is a magical combination

Kizzy 07-01-2020 05:35 AM

You know what... I prefer ready salted.

Jigs 07-01-2020 07:22 AM

Cheese & Onion - walkers, mccoys, mini cheddars
Salt & Vinegar - kettle chips, pringles

You beat me to it ...

All the others are a distraction when I’m searching the shelves for Walkers Ready Salted ...

I’ve had that original flavour from the start decades ago .. I recall Golden Wonder but there must be others

I have always chosen cheese & onion over salt & vinegar but I do enjoy both flavours

I used to like the Salt and Shake ones where you got a little packet of salt and you could add it yourself to get just the right of salt on them.

Marsh. 07-01-2020 08:37 AM

Woah, nevermind the flavours... I'm heaving at the thought of you suckling a crisp and only eating it when it's a soggy flavourless mess. :worry:

michael21 07-01-2020 08:53 AM

Chicken flavor is the way to go

Has to be Tayto Cheese and Onion for a crisp sandwich

LeatherTrumpet 07-01-2020 09:37 AM

i bought a bag of six golden wonder (so much better than greasy walkers) salt and vinegars the other day, now I know the TLs daughter will try to eat them if she runs out of her own so I keep a big bag (empty) of aldi Mccoy rip off crisps (that she would never eat, being young) and i pop the Golden Wonders in that as a cloaking mechanism and hey presto my crisps go untouched

:hee:
