Over 170 die as 737 crashes in flames:"unintentionally" shot down from Tehran
https://news.sky.com/story/airliner-...rport-11903445
This is not the war but Tragic accident, it appears. [Everyone on board a Ukrainian Boeing 737 died when it crashed shortly after take off from Iran's main international airport, according to Iran state television. Iran's official news agency IRNA said there were at least 170 people on the plane when it came down due to technical problems after leaving the Imam Khomeini airport in Tehran en route to Kiev.] |
Horrific timing, I hope it really is nothing to do with Iran/USA (even if it was an accidental kneejerk response on either part). Also hope it's nothing to do with Russia using an opportune moment to put further pressure on Ukraine.
|
...the seconds it took for the plane to fall must have felt like a lifetime to those on board, those poor people...horrific......
|
yes usually accident investigation boards don't reveal theories/findings immediately but now to prevent more drama, with the Iran/USA conflict, to rule out terrorist attack
i guess it is a good choice to do it differently this time |
It was seen on fire before it fell, I really hope it was a failure of some sort :/
They didn't stand a chance :( |
It sounds like an engine caught fire but one wonders if the airport it took off from is distracted with everything else going on in Iran, and it lead to someone or multiple people missing a problem with the aircraft?
|
The Iranians have found the Black boxes,
But will not give it to Boeing as Boeing refuse to allow Iran to buy parts for their planes. Due to the Sanctions. Of Course they get the parts in the end, from a 3rd nation seller who can charge high prices. |
It passed all its tests just 2 days ago..something smells if you ask me..
I know coincidences happen, but this one is to suspicious to think accident. |

It was half full of Iranians 3 British died on the plane. It could be a Engine problem as they can occur any time. |
That's quite the coincidence there...

Otherwise, it really does seem too much like a coincidence and was probably a military error of some sort. |
Worth mentioning that the FAA have instructed civilian aircraft not to fly over the region specifically because of the risk of being mistaken for military. Just sayin'...
|
Remember when a plane went down in NY a couple of weeks after 9/11? I'm always amazed we don't have more plane crashes,

Although to put THAT in perspective... there are over 1 million commercial flights a week so 2 major crashes a week is actually tiny in terms of risk. |
Ukrainian Boeing 737*.... just sayin.

It's an incredible and tragic coincidence if it wasn't shot down, I expect it was shot down though, the timing is far too suspicious.
