Has anyone ever gone on a website that not only says accept cookies but also says to share your data?? .

I was on tv show / show business site called ' Fansided' and i accidentally clicked yes like an auto pilot reaction.

But what exactly do they do with people's data? , it feels like everyone has our personal details out there.

Pretty much sell it to advertisers to allow targetted ads.

these days they have to say if they are sharing data, who with and what for. You can also write to them at any time and insist that your details be removed, and they must comply within a defined time period or face a fine.
