I reckon Sky should make some sort of deal where BBC channels are a package that costs say £12 a month and it gets paid forward to the BBC by Sky if you take that package... and you can otherwise still watch TV but with no Beeb channels :hee:. |
Having grown up with the member-supported funding system used for the PBS here in the US, I don't know how well it'd go down with you guys, even if its to keep ads out of programmes. I'm also thinking that maybe the BBC could do the NPO treatment and only do ads inbetween programmes.
