After an extended break beginning in the spring of 2019, Dan Houser, Vice President, Creative at Rockstar Games, will be leaving the company. Dan Houser’s last day will be March 11, 2020. I wouldnt be surprised if this was related to Take Two wanting to speed up GTA's release schedule

GTA won't be the same without him.

Is he gonna set up his own company? He was responsible for all the great stories gonna be interesting see if the future stories will suffer. GTA, Red Dead etc are set in terms of game play so hopefully the quality wont take a nose dive.

IIRC his brother is still there, but it definately wont be the same without him, and Leslie Benzies is gone too, who was behind most of the 3D era games. I think Take Two are wanting to milk GTA now
